Cool fact: no new crude oil is obtained for the recycled yarn. In this way 10,000 tons of yarn saves a total of over 70,000 barrels of crude oil.
So this recycling saves over
65,100 tons of CO2.

The recycled yarn is turned into the perfect high-end fabric for the bikinis.
In production they only use electricity from renewable sources, there is a high-tech wastewater homogenization aimed at reducing the amount of pollutants before it is sent to the municipal water treatment plant.
Ergo: Clean water - no harm.
An innovative heat recovery system aims to use thermal energy generated during the fabric production cycle to heat part of the production premises.
Tadaaa! This saves around 2,425,000 kg
of CO2 per year.
